Lisa Barlow of “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” is letting fans in on the latest transformation her Draper, UT, abode has undergone.

In an interview with Glamour magazine, the 51-year-old said she’s “obsessed” with renovating her house.

“I just put an addition on our house, and it’s stunning,” Barlow shared. “I love decorating it, and everything that’s going in this new space is so well-thought-out.”

While she has yet to reveal the finished product with the world, she did share a few details about the new aesthetic.

“Everything in my house is black and white. I have black rugs, black and white art,” she said. “All my vases—I have one in every room, sometimes two or three in every room—and they’re the most beautiful vases I’ve ever seen in my life. It’s my creative side; I love anything to do with home decor.”

Barlow provided Bravo fans with a tour of her home in December 2020. At the time, she noted the dwelling was a “work in progress.”

“When we bought the house, we bought it as is, so I just wanted to put a little bit of LIsa on the whole house,” she explained.

The Vida Tequila founder described her home design as “super minimalist” and “modern,” adding that she enjoys her home most when it feels “super serene” and there’s “not a lot of clutter.”

At one point, Barlow even touted a customized, concealed closet where she discretely stores “300 pairs of shoes.”

The Barlow family’s decision to add more space to their gorgeous stone estate comes years after the reality star shared plans to build a completely new home from the ground up.

In November 2024, during “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City After Show,” Barlow said, “We’re building a home. Our house right now is cold modern, and the new house we’re doing is very clean lines, 90-degree angles only.”

Barlow also confirmed that her new home will be located in Alpine, UT—a city 32 miles southeast of Salt Lake City.

Although Barlow currently sounds very pleased with her existing home as she continues to stay busy with renovations, she has previously explained that having grown up with a pool, “it’s weird” that she doesn’t have one now.

“We’re definitely going to have a pool and everything in the backyard will face mountains,” she explained.

Barlow has a very specific vision for the family’s future home, including a rule that “nothing can be like, rounded,” meaning there will be no “arches.” Her husband of 23 years, John Barlow, has also requested “concrete floors” that will be warmed up with “radiant heating.”

Additional plans include space for a spray tan room with “washable walls,” a “2,000-square-foot closet,” and “ambient lighting throughout the entire space” to ensure “everyone looks pretty” in the house “all the time.”

Barlow’s decision to erect a totally new build came on the heels of her appearance on “Sold on SLC,” a real estate show that was cancelled after a single season.

During an episode of the series that aired on Jan. 8 2025, Barlow searched for a new home alongside real estate agent Sarah Martindale.

The pair walked through a $3.7 million property, but it didn’t live up to Barlow’s standards, as her wish list included a salon, a spray tan station, and a mailroom to receive incoming packages.

In an exclusive Realtor.com® interview, Martindale confirmed that Barlow “was able to find a lot.”

“She showed me the plans, [and] it’s beautiful, She’s found an amazing designer,” Martindale teased. “Her house is going to be gorgeous, and she’ll have everything [on] her list.”

Barlow has not shared a timeline for when the Alpine home is expected to be completed.
